Eagles on Kvitsøy

Watercolor painted from a field sketch during my first boat trip to Kvitsøy Island and its archipelago, off the coast of Stavanger in southwestern Norway.
As we approached the island’s shores, two White-tailed Eagles were circling against a backdrop of cumulus clouds. I had just enough time for a quick sketch as the boat continued on.
Back home, I transferred the sketch onto watercolor paper to paint it.
